105 Frankston
105 Degrees Korean BBQ continues its bold expansion with the opening of its second restaurant in Frankston, bringing its signature fire-fueled dining experience to the bayside.
Building on the success of its Plenty Valley location, the Frankston venue marks a confident evolution of the brand, retaining the core brand offering of 105 Degrees while pushing the experience further through spatial design, materiality, and a newly elevated food offering.
Our role encompassed the full journey, from spatial planning and interior design through to brand application and visual identity, ensuring continuity while allowing the venue to respond to its new setting.

Materiality as Brand Language
Material selection was central to shaping the tone and authenticity of the space. The brand’s signature blue continues to anchor the interior, used with restraint and intent to guide movement, reinforce identity, and reference flame, heat, and the act of cooking.
This bold colour is layered against raw concrete floors, brushed metal accents, feature tiles, fluted glass, and translucent brickwork, each material carefully chosen to balance contrast and cohesion. Industrial elements introduce grit and honesty, while refined finishes add depth and sophistication, creating a space that feels energetic yet composed.
Lighting enhances texture and material interplay, reflecting off glass and metal surfaces to amplify atmosphere and movement throughout the venue. The result is a dining environment that feels authentic, contemporary, and unmistakably 105 Degrees, where design and brand work seamlessly together.
A New Take on the Buffet Experience
At the heart of the Frankston restaurant is a refined buffet-style offering that reimagines the all-you-can-eat Korean BBQ model. Curated refrigerated displays invite diners to move through the space, selecting premium meats, sides, and accompaniments before returning to the table to grill and share.
This approach adds a sense of flow, choice, and theatre, transforming dining into an interactive, social experience that extends beyond the table itself.
With its Frankston opening, 105 Degrees Korean BBQ continues to define itself as a destination for bold flavour, immersive design, and social dining—confidently evolving while staying true to its identity.
