Byron Bay Flagship
In true Endota style their newest spa in Byron Bay exudes all the calm, peace and tranquility the brand is known for.
It’s the perfect haven to embody healing and relaxation, while also retailing their complete skin care and cosmetic ranges.
The brand had an exceptional opportunity to obtain a unique site in the well know Lawson Arcade right in the middle of the bustling township not far from the main beach. The perfect position to entice tourists visiting the area to stop in for a treatment, as well as capturing the attention and loyalty of locals alike.
The design challenge was to reimagine the site and transform it into a tranquil retreat, a space to match the chilled out vibe and coastal paradise that Byron Bay is known for while also remaining true to the brand.

The design direction embraces a Hacienda Boho Coastal style, a place where you feel the natural beauty of the beach and experience the freedom of a Spanish bohemian lifestyle.
The structure of the entire space itself is a masterclass in arched forms, curves, lines and light. The walls, display units, counters and shelves are molded to perfection with a stunning rendered finish providing shape and movement.
The 3D visuals below produced in the creative development phase showcase the entire space drawing attention to the form and structure, as well as the flow created by having two entrances.
It is pure joy to follow the light around the interior watching it fall across the textured walls, creating soft shadow play under the arches and drawing customers and clients through the space.
The light airy colour palette is a beautiful back drop for the product and creates a sense of calm, while also complimenting the warmth from the timber shelving, rattan cupboard units, and oversize light pendants.
The ceiling is also a key feature of the design, not only balancing the neutral nature of the space but almost upstaging the interior with it’s dramatic beams and textured reed finish.
The relax lounge plays a critical role in the overall journey and experience for client’s at Endota Spa by setting the tone and transitioning them from their day to prepare for their treatment. We’ve designed a built-in bench seat layered with cushions to provide comfort and have intentionally kept the space minimal and quiet.
The treatment rooms boast beautiful design elements like the decorative wall tiles, gorgeous bathroom fittings and basins, and the rattan cupboard units. We also love the styling items that tie back in with the Hacienda Boho Coastal style.
